My last column in SFX magazine is out now, so I'm going to have a go at doing a newsletter - I'm planning to send it every Friday which means I'll probably send it drunk on a Sunday. Who could resist such an offer? https://t.co/EDcyVJRCrZ
Please excuse me while I spend the rest of my life freaking out about The Shadow Glass being The Times's BOOK OF THE MONTH ๐๐ฑ๐ฆ
"The Shadow Glass is confident, unostentatious entertainment." Thank you so much @TheTimesBooks! (cc'ing @TitanBooks & @zenoagency.)
Just an early morning follow up to this. If you google cat combs then you donโt get catacombs.
But more importantly why is there a โbโ in either word??? โCom-bโ to be pronounced โcowmโ? Did I dream the b?
Google's thing where it just sends you to Amazon without even asking is infuriating. I was just searching for Catacombs and suddenly I've got a page full of cat combs. Haven't even got a cat.
I actually prefer new Church, though I didn't like the movie as much as the original. I just felt new Church was so convincing as an utter bastard in the way cats just are. (Cat person).
@zcarstheme Iโm having the melon then the pepperoni pizza, corn on the cob, baby potatoes and then all of the deserts but heavy on the Angel Delight. Bliss.
Can someone go on and invent a platform for filmmakers to post pitches for unmade films and Frequent Movie Goers rank them?
I know- total hellscape. But still better than now, when so many gate keepers refuse to take risks.
We do want weird shit, yeah?
It might have taken a few weeks, but a third newsletter has now emerged out of my fingers, featuring Things Heard & Seen, The Night House and Psycho Goreman https://t.co/tAbNgjUvm2
