@JudgeForHOF@demonRoki@owndodgerhaters If they continue to be how they are next year then sure, I’ll worry a little, but right now I’m just seeing it as the Brewers are the team of destiny this year. They’re doing everything right and the Dodgers are slumping.
No team can stay on top forever. That’s baseball for you
@demonRoki@JudgeForHOF@owndodgerhaters Exactly
You never know what’s going to happen in baseball, dodgers could be bad for three years again or come back next year and immediately win it once again
A salary cap won’t make players be able to hit more or less
@BoingoRichard@owndodgerhaters It would be nice to see some prospects take his and Rojas’s spots if they don’t return for another year but that’s a wait and see.
I was a Dodgers fan before they started winning and I’m not gonna jump ship over a bad season. Was definitely worth losing this over 24’ or 25’
@BoingoRichard@owndodgerhaters Not ‘my’ anything. If I was affiliated with the Dodgers, I wouldn’t be working 9 hour shifts at my job. Dodgers have a lot of contracts up this year so they’ll have options.
If the Dodgers win another ring in a head or two after a cap/lockout, will people want another one?
@DodgersNation@FredRoggin Unless something just magical happened overnight, it’s over. It sucks but they had a hell of a run.
Go for another ring next year
@JudgeForHOF@owndodgerhaters Dodgers have plenty of prospects and just won b2b Series. Doesn’t change the fact people on here are claiming a cap next year would mean Dodgers never win again
@CausalSender6@SelkieTh3Seal@owndodgerhaters It depends. Big markets would still get more revenue and free agents would still probably look at big market availability first. Plus owners would have to actually want to spend rather than do the bare minimum amount then stop.
It would have to include a floor or it’s a waste
@DarinBass4@BigAL_213 I’ve been watching them play for years ‘bro’, I know how bad they’ve looked this season.
Writing was on the walls for months the dodgers weren’t going to 3peat, people just thought they wouldn’t get swept. It sucks but I say it was worth losing this season to get 24’ and 25’
@DarinBass4@BigAL_213 Just because they get paid a lot of money doesn’t stop the human body from collapsing, especially with some of the games the last couple of years.
Dodgers had a hell of run and I’m sure they’ll get another ring in the future but just wasn’t meant to be this time
@DodgerJim8647@Dodgers@Brewers I’m still confused on how a lock out or caps would mean the Dodgers are never winning again like I’ve seen people say on here
@NObamaski@EmpireJeffTV A lockout or cap isn’t a magical “Dodgers won’t win ever again” button like some people think it is.
It could be beneficial to the sport, sure, but has the chance to hurt small market more than the big
