September Meeting
We are now on our summer break but will be back on the 6th September at 18:00 for a visit by Glittering Star Lodge who will be doing a 3rd degree ceremony under the Irish Constitution. Interested see poster.
122nd Roses Night.
Itโs part of out tradition that our June Meeting is our Roses Night, first started in June 1900. As with every Lodge meeting it starts with preparation and yesterday morning a number of our Brethren and their Wives โDressed the Lodge.
Horsa Roses Night Monday 17 June.
Roses night was first held in June 1900 under W Bro H.B. Harvey, and continued right through both World Wars! Covid was the only thing that interrupted the continuity of the custom, this is the 124 year and will be our 122nd meeting.
I have been invited to Lodge of Hengist Lodge No 195 as a visiting Master. Look forward to being at our Mother Lodge for their Installation Meeting and Festive Board tomorrow evening.
Monday is our Roses Festival it has been running for over 110 years, to make it a success we need some more Roses, if any one local to Freemasons Hall in Knole Rd would like to donate any roses (8โ stem) please drop them off on the steps of the hall before 10am on Monday. Thanks
