Greta nails it as usual. Yesterday world experts told us we have a last slim chance to save the world. Today that is pushed far into the background by Boris' nonsense. Glad to see we have our priorities in order.

Today, after yesterday's #IPCC report, everything is back to normal – as always. We continue to ignore the climate crisis as if nothing happened. Our societies are still in denial, and those in power go on with their never ending quests to maximise profits. We cannot afford this.

@TessBentley47 There was a UK politician with the name St John so it is pretty well known to us older Brits. But I was blown away to discover my brother-in-law's middle name is St Peter (pronounced Simpter - who'd 'a guessed?).
