The mountain path narrows.
Sharp cliffs. Loose stones.
Every step feels like the ground might give way.

Ahead, laughter echoes.

Then, the slope shifts.
A rockslide.

Pepe loses his footing.
He stumbles & slips.

Penelope screams his name,
But a different hand reaches first.

Marley.
With a single sharp tug, she yanks him back to safety.
Marley: “My debt is repaid.”

Pepe blinks, shaken: “…Wait. Did she just …save me?”

Penelope stares at Marley.
Silent. unreadable.
For a moment, the rivalry feels less like war… and more like something stranger.

But Patchy doesn’t care.
He storms ahead, furious at the delay.
