@blakestbanter The Moniak extension and Doyle trade are starting to look confusing. Micky has earned the money but someone else should be paying him, needed to trade him at the deadline. Carrigg defense is shaky and Beck can't hit, Doyle should be the RH bat.

@Sikund_Veltin Carrigg has sucked the past couple of weeks outside of 1 homer, he needs a day or two off. Tovar has been benched plenty, less lately with Karros injured and Beck hardly plays. Not sure what team you're watching.

@JokictoGordon No. Freeman's at bats should go to Moniak to see if he can hit lefties, while Johnston should go to Beck to see if he can hit righties. Condon is a Sep callup to keep his rookie status for next year. Veen should take Julian's lefty spot, Freeman 2B only.

Who's better we aren't playing? We've seen all the top prospects besides Condon and none stood out besides Carrigg. We are playing Tovar and he's been below average, Julian and Freeman aren't why we lose.

@DNVRSaez All those players are under control for next year so I assume they can still shop them in the offseason when more teams are involved. They need to move Moniak as his splits arent great and they have Veen and Thompson waiting. Condon/Beck, Carigg, Veen/McCarthy OF next year.

@skraxxy @blakestbanter I didn't say it had to be a teams top prospect, i feel its a light return especially when you add Castro who has value. You send Tovar and I'm ok with that return. You should get 1 top 5 prospect, 1 top 10 and then a couple of flyers. It's missing a solid prospect.

@skraxxy Starters usually have a bullpen session in between starts. There's no reason he couldn't do that in a game, Lorenzen did earlier in the year.

@skraxxy It would lower the return but i would use Goodman to dump Tovar. New York and Boston want C and SS so could kill 2 birds. Would take back Volpe or Mayer as cheaper SS options. Still should get 1 good prospect and an arm as well.

If fielder wanted obvious interference she should have kept running into the running when fielding and they make the call, she misplayed it badly.

@therockiesguru @Sikund_Veltin Doyle was that guy 2 years ago and a down period he's gone? Moniak is almost a LH Doyle with more power and less defense. Age wise the OF besides Carigg is close to the same.if you re willing to move one you should move them all.

@PatrickDLyons If that was offered I would take it. Early would be the best pitcher for Colorado right now, i still think Meyer can be a player and Witherspoon would be the top P prospect. Navaez would be an ok fill or flipped for a prospect or two elsewhere.

@TroyRenck In that 10 year span half weren't even top 10 picks if you are counting comp 1sts. Pint and Montgomery are the only busts. Rodgers had a good stretch, Rollison and Romo have found roles somewhere, Toglia will join the busts and the rest are too young to count out yet.
