I just really really want to commend people of South Africa from poor backgrounds who have made it through and broken out of this system… Evidently It’s coming straight for the middle class now and for the first time some of them relate to how horrible our government has been!!! Ever since I started March and March I have come to realise just how difficult it is for South Africans from very poor backgrounds to even be given a chance to be heard…

These people make everything that is real that is happening to poor people seem like it’s a fragment of their imagination! They ask poor people for Data or proof or research because their lived experiences are not proof enough of what is REAL!! That time they have to WAIT for you “educated” people to confirm what’s real and what’s not or if they don’t it’s not real…They can’t come to you yet you also don’t go to them to prove that something is real if it doesn’t suit your agenda? So it remains something that’s just unverified?

Someone asked why they report things to me and not to the police station, I knew then just how difficult it must be!!

During the 2026 SONA which was in February, the President promised the employment of 10000 labour inspectors to deal with the employers that violate immigration and labour laws.

Over 6 months later, no labour inspector has been hired not even positions have been advertised.

I will be on PowerFM at 22:00 tonight to discuss this issue as citizens get excitable with rhetoric, catchphrases and promises but rarely follow up on promises made by the government.
