Just finished a replay of Persona 5 Royal (my excuse is getting a duplicate platinum on PS5), and man, I know the game has its problematic elements, but it really is one of the best when it comes to portraying the idea of finding your own path and being true to yourself.
@SpookyNateXIII@FrostedYukio Not supporting Fadel hate, but:
Respectfully, this is an incredibly harmful mindset to have regarding unethical practices. You're effectively supporting might makes right and that consumers shouldn't pushback because they don't have the numbers to make a meaningful differences.
If you're the type of person to fear for their life at the sight of a Labradoodle running towards you, I just don't think you should be trusted to keep the public safe. Wouldn't you agree @MayorOfLA?
I really don't want to go to bat for Kotaku, but the writer is just saying they don't like Quadratum's photorealistic look. Not that they think the entire game is going to look like Quadratum.
Hence why they use Pirates from KH2 as the comparison, being a "realistic" KH world.
@JohnnyLockson Unless I'm misreading the article, the writer does acknowledge that this is for Quadratum and not the whole game, they're just expressing that they don't like the way it pursues a more photorealistic design in comparison to something like KH3's version of Carribean.
@DeputyARUUU A huge part of it I think, comes from how in both Crisis Core and Rebirth, Zack finds himself forced to watch everything he knew crumble around him. His autonomy is effectively stripped away, and so he fights for a every ounce of control he can as his life slips further away.
Yโall this recast got me PISSED.
Sorry for the naughty word.
Square Enix dropped the ball so hard with Final Fantasy VII Revelation
Sephiroth is either Tyler Hoechlinโs or George Newbernโs role.

@AHalfNickel Not to mention Travis has already done background voices for the remake trilogy already, so the folks in charge of Revelation's English cast have absolutely worked with him before. Not like Matt just popped out and said "I know a guy."
