Starting today, I'm beginning my AI Engineering journey with the book AI Engineering by @chipro.
My goal is to understand the AI stack and the ecosystem around it, get a better sense of how models work, and learn how to build applications with them.
@wordsofteekay How do you prefer printed book rather than digital version? because I think it's harder to hold them and real specially when you need to code at the sometime or search/ask questions about the content of the book in AI tools.
@wordsofteekay Oh working in standing mode! I wonder if it is possible to work while you're not sitting? Was it easy for you to switch to a stand-up desk? Do you suggest it? I think everyday I go closer to death because of this so much sitting!
@valeriechen_ This is seriously cool — proactive AI that knows when to help feels like the next frontier. I’m digging into the paper, but just wondering: was there a sweet spot where devs felt most supported but not interrupted?
Once you find the simple rules, the real work begins.
You can combine them, orchestrate them, and use them as powerful building blocks to design entire systems.
I realized: every truly complex system is built on simple rules.
It’s not the complexity that’s impressive—It’s the elegance of the foundation.
Simplicity isn’t a sign that something is boring.
It’s a signal that you’ve uncovered the core truth—The starting point of real craft.
