@GetsPod@KrisNewEngland@DefiantLs If your dad saved up money that was earned income that was taxed, then he bought 5 acres, pays property tax on it, farmed it, and you worked along side your family to cultivate it, then he ages, then dies, and you want a death tax? No. Hell no. Others have no right to that.
@NextUpHalperin@MarkHalperin I absolutely want accountability. It was Fauci who bolstered support for state/local governments to pass actual legislation. Fauci emboldened the healthcare complex to strongarm people into injecting an experimental gene therapy.
@anie_3301C@jeffreytucker Maybe you forgot that Fauci being so trusted gave local/state govts support from their constituents to pass actual legislation. Fauci gave authority through CDC strong arming drs to push vaxx and deny legitimate exemptions. And then the EO mandating private workers through OSHA.
@mattlittleson@CarlLaverick@EazyMeat Well too bad, in the US the Obama/Biden Administration needed higher interest rates on federally funded student loans to pay for the [absolutely un-] Affordable Care Act. Now both healthcare and college costs are unaffordable.
@TheeSanDiego45@SaraCsit@celestialbe1ng@lbc360 I highly suggest reading the book “Are You There Alone?” by Suzanne O’Malley on the Andrea Yates case. It was eye opening on the systemic failures of our healthcare system with severe mental health issues, as well as the breakdowns of support systems (ie family) for sufferers.
@SweetMelAZ@DavidKkcparents@TheProv31Mama@RedWavePress Source: Google. Highest nominal cost per gallon was in 2022, Joe Biden was president. Also, Woodrow Wilson was the president in 1918, in case you wanted the highest ever price adjusted to present value.
Nothing screams TRUE SOCIALIST like:
-A millionaire who owns 3 homes
-Arriving in a huge SUV
-To his private jet
-To fly out and give a paid speech
-On the evils of capitalism and fossil fuels
Am I right?
A city in Oregon was forced to permanently remove its Flock cameras after an audit found that federal agencies had access to the system.
The audit revealed that two federal agencies could access the data, including the ability to search the broader network of license plate records for up to six months.
Flock cameras are used as a mass surveillance tool under the guise of public safety.
@Tiredmermie@NixonPunished@jimgeraghty So in 1997, a young couple purchased a home after being in the workforce for about a decade, and they had no idea what the housing markets would do. Yes, home prices have risen over 30 years, but this is all getting to be a weird, hyper-obsessive-bordering-on-evil level of envy.
