Reading books, watching sports and overthinking everything since 2001. Awkward but thriving (mostly)

@rachelhopmayer I would be so happy with this and a PWHL franchise here

[Samantha McLaughlin @HotDamSweetSam]

@Wolffman96 Way better than Monsters imo

Tonight would've been a perfect night for the Red Wings

[Samantha McLaughlin @HotDamSweetSam]

@Dsobie2 That's honestly crazy that it's never happened

[Samantha McLaughlin @HotDamSweetSam]

I read or heard somewhere that the Lions hadn't had a coordinator hired away as a head coach since Don Shula in 1963. Now we've lost two in three days!! 😭

@tigers I understand ppl wanting the big Bregman deal already...i do too, but this is a good move.

@DetroitRedWings That was beautiful

[Samantha McLaughlin @HotDamSweetSam]

@DetroitRedWings Nice goal for Mo...wish it were on the other end 😳

Honestly if the evil queen from Snow White offered me her poisoned apple I'd eat it instantly just to get through the rest of winter.

@DetroitRedWings This is more like it 😊

I've seen a couple of the scalper videos on my feed for Nintendo or Pokemon at Costco, why not limit it to one or two per account? Clearly something that popular is going to sell out and a place like Costco with memberships can easily do it.

@lilfolks_74_ @woodwardsports @Lions @OhioStateFB @NFL I'm not saying it is or isnt, I'm happy to leave that up to Brad to decide. I'm just saying I might not like them or their team in college but once they're Lions it doesn't matter to me where they played.

Lol only a ~5 year wait time for Onyx Storm on Libby

[Samantha McLaughlin @HotDamSweetSam]

It definitely hurts to lose him to a rival and to lose a great talent. Hoping the Lions can keep most of their coaching staff. But being elite involves losing your talent to other teams.

People are acting like the sky is falling...and I get it, but we'll be fine. No worries.

I think I've gone and got myself addicted to Coke Zero. I've got a bottle sitting on my desk and ive craved it the entire hour or so I've been doing housework downstairs.

I rarely drink pop, so I'm not sure why I've enjoyed it so much these past few days.

[Samantha McLaughlin @HotDamSweetSam]

It's a bit of a cruel tease that we have so many gray and sunless winter days ☁️ and then today when we have a wind chill of -10° it's beautiful and sunny looking out there ☀️ 🥶

[Samantha McLaughlin @HotDamSweetSam]

@VintageDet This. I will still run through walls for Dan Campbell...or at least crash into one lol

I hope Campbell and Holmes are here for a long, long time.
