We received word that Bob Smith passed away peacefully on Saturday night. He was 83. Bob was an incredible basketball player, but an even better person. We will be forever indebted to Bob and his wife Jean, for being part of the Hot Rod documentary.

Sid Hartman wrote for 76 years. He also worked for the @Lakers and left the team just before Minnesota drafted Hot Rod.
