This morning Exxie Clark, 4th grader at Main Street Visual and Performing Arts Magnet School, received the Life Saving Award from the Hot Springs Police Department along with the HSSD Institutional Law Enforcement Officers for his heroic actions helping another student. #hero
Two years ago today, March 10, 2020, we lost one of our heroes. Corporal Brent William Perry Scrimshire killed in the line of duty while serving and protecting our community. Corporal Scrimshire was the epitome of selflessness, courage, and integrity. #BackTheBlue
Thank you Sgt. May and Cpl. Cantrell, for taking the time to help make Hudson’s birthday a memorable one. Hudson was sworn in as a Junior Police Officer, toured the building and got a chance to see some really neat equipment.
On Friday, January 7, 2022, the Hot Springs Police Department held a Badge Pinning and Promotion Ceremony. Eleven new Officers were sworn in and pinned and eight were promoted.
