I'm having a real internal conflict here because I'm easily trusting and that led me to commissioning someone who was lying about their skills and sent me other artists' works as examples

I only realized 2 weeks after I sent payment that it didn't match what they post publicly..

About how many tries of asking for a refund for a commission do you go through before filing a claim on paypal?

as an artist I don't want to damage someone's pp account if I can avoid it but I also don't want to be taken advantage of when I ask for a refund and they don't do it
