Turns out the Border Patrol agent caught on video screaming “Step back, or I’m going to shoot you” at bystanders in Evanston, Illinois, isn’t just a loose cannon with a badge — he’s also a full-blown racist, sexist, anti-LGBT keyboard warrior hiding behind a troll account.

Timothy Donahue, a 38-year-old member of Trump loyalist Gregory Bovino’s marauding “Green Army,” helped run “Operation Midway Blitz” in Illinois, where a federal judge later shredded agents for reckless tactics and unbelievable testimony in a brutal opinion that read like a warning label for state-sanctioned thuggery.

On Halloween, Donahue was filmed twice pointing his gun at horrified locals after agents caused a crash and then descended on the scene like an occupying army, punching a man in the head as a woman screamed in the line of fire.

The detainees were eventually released without charges, and Evanston’s mayor called the conduct “lawlessness,” while the police chief referred evidence to the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. Accountability watchdog ICE List used Freedom of Information Act records to identify Donahue, and Chicago outlet Unraveled followed the digital trail right to his X account — a cesspool of white supremacist dog whistles, misogyny, and open homophobia.

Posting as @Timothy77593126, Donahue praised a meme of a white dad disowning his daughter for going to prom with her Black boyfriend as “Based,” cheered violence against a gay man with the same word, declared “some cultures are better than others,” and answered “Yes” when asked if America would be better off if women couldn’t vote.

He replied “Woodchipper” under a photo of a drag queen talking to a child and “Good” to a story about fear in the trans community after the Nashville school shooting — the kind of content you’d expect from a fringe hate account, not from someone armed, deputized, and unleashed on American streets in Trump’s immigration crackdown.

When journalists began connecting the dots, Donahue didn’t stop — he rebranded. His account, archived with his real name and face, cycled through display names from “Donny” to “Based Red Beard” as if a new avatar could erase the receipts.

Meanwhile, Judge Sara Ellis blasted the entire Border Patrol operation as out of control, saying agents drove erratically, caused the crash, and then lied about it in sworn statements that were “impossible to believe.” Local records show Donahue racking up traffic tickets years earlier; now he’s brake-checking civilians with a government gun and MAGA grievance-fueled rage.

This is Trump’s border “law and order” in real life: an unhinged agent pointing weapons at unarmed bystanders, then going home to high-five racist memes and fantasize about stripping women and queer people of basic rights — all while DHS refuses to answer questions and his account stays live.

If this is who’s enforcing immigration policy, it’s not just a rogue bad apple; it’s a rotten orchard that was cultivated on purpose.

I have an employee, Sarah, who has been my right hand for 6 years. She opens the shop, closes the shop, and treats the business like it's her own. Yesterday, she came into my office shaking, handing me a resignation letter. She said her mom was diagnosed with dementia and she needs to become a full-time caregiver because she can't afford a nurse. I tore up the letter. I told her, 'You are not quitting.
