@BrockBentley5 True, I mean there’s Dairy operations with automatic feeders that feed 6+ “meals” per day to optimize production. K-state, OK-state, and Iowa state all have research articles on feeding tendency vs rate of gain in beef cattle btw

@BrockBentley5 I’ve read a few research articles on the topic that found 1 and 2 feedings/day have similar results then jump in ADG at 3 but have to weigh additional cost of labor+machinery for extra feeding vs ADG increase to determine efficiency

Any other farmers struggle in their personal relationships this time of year? All day long we fix, troubleshoot, and plan. When I come home I want to treat my family the same way. It’s frustrating & overwhelming when I hear more problems that I feel out of control to fix.
