@TexasBeerDistr1 For the record, at the TABC Commissioners Hearing I was speaking on behalf of the winery stakeholders but all manufacturing members have similar issues.
@TexasBeerDistr1 What would that be? Ensure Sunset gets enacted fairly? Ensuring eliminated subordinate permits are removed from fee schedules? Ensure TABC isn’t profiting from permit fee collection?
@jayrjordan@chron Yes please and start here. You can hang out at my business next to the intersection if you can get your car up the City driveway aptly named Mt Everest.
With respect @TABC_Chair you should stop comparing the Texas wine industry to California. For one they have significantly lower winery permit fees. With the current @TexasABC rule, winery permit fees are comparable to Utah and Mississippi
TMYK @TABC_Chair MS has the highest winery permit fee of $3600. They have 3 wineries. @TexasABC new winery permit fee of $3400 (250%) will be the second highest in the nation. The proposed fee will kill #texaswine and #smallbusiness Do you want to be MS?@Texas_Wine@TexasTribune
@beesandcheese I’m finding that the tappy tap is charging as card not present (even for debit cards) which is the highest rate. It could just be CloverPOS.
Welp ... as if this week hasn’t been stressful enough 😐😐
20% is pretty low but it does likely beef up our rain chances tomorrow/Saturday. #toosoon#kprc2#tropics
