Houston’s home for young Republicans since 1977. We recruit, train, and elect the next generation of conservative leaders. 🇺🇸 | @TexasYRs federated member
Friday 12th at NettBar! The RPT convention is here in Houston this year meaning we’ll have YRs from across the state to cavort around with. HYR proud to cohost Party for Life with Austin YR and Texas YR Federation.
If you’re a delegate, believe me you’ll need the relief. If you’re not a delegate, come to harass the @AustinTXYRs degenerates. Bocce ball, giant beer pong, and $2 train shots when one passes!
RSVP not truly 100% *required* to attend but please do so they can have accurate count for drink tickets. Be mindful that there’s a medium sized lot but street parking limited after 11pm. RSVP link: https://t.co/o61WsGtwNx?
Friends, crustaceans, countrymen, lend me your antennae;
Instagram came to algorithmically bury our posts, not to praise them; (thus the tweet)
The evil that stuffing your gullet with 5lb of crawfish does lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Caesar...
-Shakespeare, "Julius Crawdad", Act III, Scene II
Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
Flags for the Fallen is back as part of the re-ignition of our biannual service projects. We know it’s a bit early in the day but we’d like you to join us in patriotic fellowship and the celebration of the lives and deeds of our nation’s honored dead. Then maybe a bite afterward. Message the page and we will get you coordinated with our meetup location!
@JasonVaughn@CurrentRevolt@BergundiDCain That's a capital idea. If either candidate or a representative would like to come get a word in at our next meeting also, that would be on the 29th
@realkalebholmes@TexasYRs You were at SD7, correct? We're far better at updating IG and FB so make sure to follow us there. Getting twitter back up and running though!
Too busy for a group photo! Thank you to the 42 who came out and extra thanks to the three winners of rodeo tickets! See it with us on the 7th, promos up soon!
It's time for our February social and there's nothing more Texas Valentines than some good country music at a refined country venue with an enormous armadillo statue. Solid young artist Mr. David Lewis. Come practice your moves so we'll all be on the same page at next month's rodeo event, and we promise not to talk about property taxes. See tickets here: https://t.co/hLCUW3lZ49
@JoeCaruana20@BobChoate54@HTXMillennials There is an official Young Democrats group. We are not Houston Millennial Republicans; we are an organization for 18-41. We do not purport to speak for an entire age range and neither should an ostensibly non-partisan group.
