Students are using a Dichotomous Key to figure out which Jelly Bean they were eating. The students were completely engaged the whole time. Some were even asking if they could have more worksheets to practice their skills. Loved it! @KirbyWFISD @checkeyesci @TECHbotHohertz
First day of student teaching and already taught my first lesson✅ Introduced our Life Science Unit by reviewing vocabulary words and creating posters in small groups. Super excited for the rest of the year!
Love seeing students so excited about their National History Day Projects! Can't wait to see their research! @davecasamento @drkacjr_EMSupt #GreatHappensHere19_20#SocialStudiesMatters
You cannot discipline trauma - student behavior is only one indicator of what is happening, its layered, it's emotional, it's experiential, its triggered, its reactionary - student's often only show us what they want to show us.
I started this decade as a freshman in high school, and I am starting a new decade as a middle school teacher. I am thankful for my support system and how I have grown.
“The question, ‘Who did you help today?’ is one that would make such a difference in classrooms and schools. Obviously, #kindness is not the only thing that we focus on in education, but it is becoming more relevant to focus on than ever.”
Created a Maths keynote for Area where students assess their understanding and choose their own path (using linked slides) worked really well #AppleEDUchat#appleteacher#everyonecancreate
Inspired by a combination of ideas from @BlueprintLearn and @MrDigiTechSabe
As a newer teacher, I have days where I go home crying and days that are great. Yesterday, my day was rough, and I cried myself to sleep, but, today, my students reminded me of my why. Teachers, please know you are so appreciated.

Don’t forget to have FUN with your students. Sing, dance, laugh, play. And most importantly, remember to SMILE. Your smile might be the only one they see from an adult all day. Make the time count, and make it memorable!
Shoutout to the educators who understand the power of positivity. I’m dodging bad vibes and negativity this year like it’s the plague (because it is). Who’s with me? 🙋🏻♀️
We wish we could have hit more lists, but we are thankful that we had the opportunity to help a few teachers out this year with the #clearthelist movement. We will try to do at least one more contest this year. Stay tuned!
