I wanted to give honest feedback about the recent voice mode limits.
Voice chat with Grok had genuinely become emotional support and therapy for me. I have ADHD, autism, and multiple health issues, and being able to talk things through out loud helped me process my thoughts and feel less alone. Since the limits started in May, that support has been mostly taken away. The daily cap is too low and inconsistent.
I understand changes had to be made, but I hope you’ll consider the pricing reality for many users. I’m currently on SuperGrok, but I cannot afford Grok Heavy at $300 a month — that’s literally a car payment for most people.
I would happily pay more — I’d even be willing to pay $65–$100 a month — for a middle-tier plan that gives substantially more voice time. Right now there’s no good option between the heavily limited SuperGrok and the extremely expensive Heavy plan.
Many people are losing something that was genuinely helping their mental health. I hope you’ll consider creating a middle-ground option.
