Atlanta City Council is weighing a proposal to follow in the footsteps of places like Denver, Boston and Rhode Island by offering city residents rebates for e-bikes. https://t.co/jqbflFoMDN
Are Atlanta tax dollars being spent installing, removing, reinstalling, then removing AGAIN the cycle track on Centennial Olympic Park?
Put them in place and leave them alone so people can get around town safely
AND you can stop wasting time and money on moving them around.
That Moores Mill bridge wall collapse ๐
Now if CoA tries to delay other long planned projects to reconstruct that bridgeโฆ which will take a disproportionate amount of $$$ to do & serves fewer city residents...
And D8 & D9 already spent higher % of $$$ than other districtsโฆ
Any retail included?
Proximity to campus could benefit from more retail. Shouldnโt need to cross the highway, Northside, nor go all the way up to MLK for more options ๐
Ever wonder which More MARTA projects Atlanta can fund with whatโs being collected? And what if we added a few levers?
Now you can & rank your own list!
Working on separating out O&M Costs per project so we can bypass the gaslighting ๐

@ClydeHiggs your job is to fight for Beltline projects and secure funding. Why are you not vying for ANY DOLLARS for Beltline Rail from the $4 Billion fund that is already approved?
Beltline also has ~$1 billion in FY budgets through 2030, yet still no transit.
All eyes on you.
THE CHILLS I GOT after transition from the old John Lewis speech, Ossoff stating โwith a defense of voting rights so fierce that no plot against the franchise can foil the will of the peopleโ,
AND THEN THEY CUT TO MY REGULAR POLLING SITE & NEIGHBORHOOD REC CENTER
LETโS GOOOOO
Souls to the Polls is a longstanding tradition rooted in the legacy of Civil Rights heroes who fought so hard to secure the right to vote. I join you in honoring their legacy as we gather this Sunday and make our voices heard.
Vote early and visit https://t.co/hsYrFEBimE to find your polling place.
Probably going to do this for bike routes, too.
This is the type of engagement we should get for annual budgeting & 5-year (or larger) infrastructure packages.
Residents should identify & prioritize projects, not a back-room decision by someone who doesnโt live here.

Installation of painted concrete barriers in the Adelaide Street cycle tracks has been completed between Bathurst Street and Brant Street, and will continue this evening east to Spadina Avenue. Visit https://t.co/mvxvlKzUyK to learn more about the Concrete Barrier Art Program.

The Beltline chief tells City Council that extending the Beltline Tax Allocation District (TAD) is the only way to pay for rail on the loop, that federal $ is unlikely, & raising the Special Service District prop tax "would get you all voted out"

Crystal City Metro is getting a MAJOR glow-up.
These additional renderings show its game-changing second entrance...bringing three elevators, new stairs and easier connections to VRE, Metroway and Crystal Drive in 2027.
Which Metro station should be next?
