I used liquid metal on my laptop CPU and GPU for 7 years. Result: the liquid metal turned into a dry metallic powder-like residue, but the laptop still works perfectly.

Replacing PS5 thermal pads can improve heat transfer, reduce overheating, and lower fan noise. Check pads for: dryness/cracks/shrinkage, poor spring-back (stays flat), and low tackiness. Bad pads create air gaps so heat stays trapped.
