2. I actually have been consistently working out for the past 2 weeks. Shocker, I know.
3. I now have a writing accountability partner. #scriptchat

Making some changes bts to better help our finalists and winners this year and in years to come.
Including:
- broadening our relationships with more *good* indie producers (since we end up with a lot of indie-centric projects) and newer, well-connected—and well-respected—managers
- expanding our development staff
- growing our partnerships with similar platforms who share the same goals of, first and foremost, fostering talented writers
- establishing a robust, hands-on mentoring system for some of our more inexperienced (yet very talented) writers to better prepare them for the realities of the industry
Saying “I don’t want to be a marketer” or “content creator” etc. “I just want to write.”
Fair statement. Thing is…that’s not how it works. Never has. The burden of that is amplified now, sure, but wearing diff hats has always been the case. In everything.

He is, without embellishment, "burning up the town" as they say...

"Not surprisingly, most screenwriters come to their interest in writing from a place of artistic passion, and they’re usually more focused on launching their careers, so things like legal matters are not as high on their list of priorities."
