The garden is really going through it this summer. We’ve had so many smoky, air quality alert days that the zinnias are tiny, the basil puny. Nothing is really where it should be right now, but somehow I ended up with this volunteer yellow calendula, so that’s something.
I planned to plant tulips and daffodils on my backyard today. Instead, I learn to fire arms and get ready for the next night of attacks on #Kyiv. We are not going anywhere.
