@LancerKind@jbyars4ku Citrix has workspaces for MacOS and iOS as well. I guess that there is a market for everything. It seems like there's some weird use cases out there, because it starts becoming running the most personal of computers in a computer center environment.
@LancerKind@jbyars4ku I haven’t tried the newest version, so I have no actual experience to answer your question with. But you’re probably not using any of the the visuals that distinguish the different versions and probably don’t care too much about the kernel version.
@LancerKind@jbyars4ku I'm really not interested in monetizing anything I do on GitHub. It's really all about extending learning and helping others learn and move forward.
@LancerKind@jbyars4ku As you can tell from the provisioning script, it was all of the personalizations for the user of the development machine. I got tired of paying for the tarball from month to month. You'll have to make your own.
@LancerKind@jbyars4ku Absolutely. You translate the bash scripts into Dockerfile commands and “provision” the machine “ready to go” as an image on DockerHub. The Terraform scripts then provision the AWS instances by establishing a Docker environment and running the Docker image from DockerHub.
@jbyars4ku@LancerKind That's why the git project used guacamole, providing RDP to the end user's browser. That means that they can run any GUI based development environment remotely.
