Drupa 2024 is coming soon. But long before Drupa, there was BuGra (Weltaustellung für BUchgewerbe und GRAfik). The first BuGra, in Leipzig, opened May 6, 1914. Notable for WWI, it was the launching pad for the iconic Heidelberg T Platen. #printinghistory #printingmuseum

The Hot Metal Revival continues with the ca 1970s #Ludlow #Typograph in our collection. In 1906, W. Ludlow & W. A. Reade formed the Ludlow Typograph Co. with the intention of making a simpler and cheaper version of the #Linotype. The Ludlow Typograph was introduced in 1912.
