Every time someone tells me, “The Bible is clear,” I think about the fact that there are enough Baptist denominations to start arguing before the Presbyterians even arrive.
Then the Lutherans show up.
Then the Pentecostals.
Then the non-denominational folks explain why they’re not a denomination.
At some point a guy is allowed to wonder:
If the answers are that clear, why does everyone keep disagreeing?
@criticalcivil Historical "what-ifs" can be fun to ponder, but the German high command knew the deck was stacked against them as soon as the US got involved.
@jjardine32@joepoopie12@MormonNational I was in the bishopric not long ago. Where I'm at in Ohio, at least, people will walk in off the streets now and again asking for financial help. I can't say how many get turned away versus not, but it must happen enough for people to keep coming back.
@jjardine32@joepoopie12@MormonNational Anyone is free to talk to their local bishop about a food order. But, most often, when someone comes in off the street, they ask for a utility or rent to be paid, and then you never see them again, whether you end up cutting a check that day or not.
@Blue__Squire It gets really awkward when you have a new player roll a "grey elf" rogue that worships Lolth, knowing full well you already have a paladin of Heironeous that's been in the party for six months.
@Lord_La_Sadies Yes, the current MK VIs and MK IIs are bigger than their previous iterations.
My grumblings were more about general scale creep and that any of the older MK IVs you might have lying around won't quite fit in with the new batch coming out.

Scale creep is one of the most easily tracked changes in Citadel miniatures.
