Excited to get training started! FIRE OPPS 101. I will learn and experience some of the things these strong men and women do on a daily basis including: understanding fire behavior & attacking it; urban search and rescue; auto extrication; cardiac arrest and more! #akleg
I love being out in this community listening to folks ☔️ or 🌞. I am hearing many informative comments and insightful ideas at the doors. Lots of support for my representation and for my reelection campaign #akelect
My representative is @RepMaxineDibert 🙌🏽 She’s an incredible champion for #education & positive change & our only #Alaska Native woman in our legislature. Pls donate if you can so we can keep her there! 🫶🏽 Mahsi’choo! https://t.co/FZreYaDdBY
Congrats Rural Alaska Honors Institute Class of 2024 for their accomplishments. They represent every region across Alaska. I am so impressed and proud of this group! I am quite certain these students will lead our state forward as innovators! @uafairbanks@Proudgwichin78#akect
Lowering energy costs is a top priority of mine. It is getting to be very tough for many families to even keep their homes warm in winter. I will continue to fight for an “all of the above” solution to bring reliable and affordable energy to Fairbanks. #akelect
Sore this morning from running the annual Midnight Sun Race, part of our rich tradition of celebrating the longest day! I met my goal, finishing 10k in 55 minutes. Got so many high fives, hugs, and handshakes from participants and from hundreds watching along the route #akelect
Our schools need permanent, predictable, and inflation adjusted funding. We owe it to our communities and our families. I will always be a champion for education and I will continue to fight for our students, our families, and our schools every chance I get! #akelect#akleg
I have filed for reelection as Representative from District 31! It’s an honor to represent the community, the community where I was born & raised and where I served as a teacher. I have heard from countless friends and neighbors saying they are excited to send me back. #akelect
Adopting BBCE, broad based categorical eligibility, was a major legislative goal of mine. Thank you @rep_mina for your hard work! #akleg

AK Legislature has adjourned sine die!
Care to read about the FY25 budget & what transpired over the last days? Check out Maxine’s Message at:
https://t.co/igYo6XqfiM sine die literally means to adjourn “without a day.” For lawmakers, it signifies "time to go home." #akleg
36 hrs until adjournment time! I will focus on advocating for my top priorities including substantially increasing education funding, lowering the cost of energy for Alaskans, and improving efforts at recruiting/retaining our public safety & education workforce. Buckle up! #akleg
I’m excited to head out on my first trip to Kotzebue and Kivalina this week to attend the new school open house!
I’m looking forward to meeting with constituents and to learn more about the needs of the region.
HD40 is so vast! If you see me, please say hi! #HD40#akleg
