Observing via Zoom, I was fortunate enough to see the ‘Eureka moment’ on this pupil’s face as he figured out a better way to solve the challenge in the dying seconds of the allowed time.

Always interesting to see the thought processes of our pupils play out in practical tasks.

They did great, not only getting to grips with working out required distances using speed and time variables, but also controlling momentum to keep @Sphero moving in straight lines. Next week, we’ll try moving in curves!

Yesterday at the #AppleRTC @iMcCowen_Edu and @InspireSuite learnt about using Augmented Reality (AR) in real life maths challenges, using GarageBand to create a haiku, photo essays for literacy and even got to fly a drone! Excited to bring ideas back to @HowardJuniorSch

. @iMcCowen_Edu and @InspireSuite have split up to cover more ground at #AppleRTC today, looking at using iPad in exciting and creative ways. So far we’ve covered drawing and photography, some inspiring stuff to bring back to @HowardJuniorSch even if the artwork isn’t great!

Today we used @WonderWorkshop Dash & Dot and @VEXRobotics tiles to practice solving paths more efficiently by recognising patterns, creating functions and adding it to our conditional code from our prior learning! @HowardJuniorSch @AppleEDU #edtech
