@Champions_67 It’s fascinating how football analysis changes when you start with the conclusion and work backwards. Tell us who you support without telling us who you support.
@TheFootyFeed The arrogance thing fascinates me. We’re probably one of the most self deprecating fanbase in football. Apparently enjoying a trip abroad now counts as delusions of grandeur.
For people who insist they don’t care about Scotland, some of you have dedicated an astonishing amount of time to Scotland.
We’re shite, yet humiliated by losing to Brazil. Kilts and bagpipes are performative. Other nations don’t really like us.
It’s been fascinating to watch.
@CharIieBennett “The media wet themselves.” says the journalist who works in the media and has spent the last two days tweeting about Scotland.
Gold star for the self awareness. 👏
They spend all week telling us Scotland are awful, then act like it’s a national humiliation when we lose to Brazil and Morocco. That’s like calling someone a Sunday league player then laughing because they couldn’t get a game for Real Madrid. 🤣🏴
@kendallrowanx As someone who actually lives in Scotland, I genuinely don’t remember this mass delusion. Most of us were hoping to make a game of it, not expecting to beat Brazil.
@MiggyWorld “Needy fans desperately seeking validation.”
Says the bloke who’s spent a week refreshing Twitter to tell Scotland he doesn’t care about Scotland.
@FarvaRangers It’s Football Italia (which has a terrible record with rumours) running with a teamtalk article. Not sure how much truth there will be in it tbh
