@EThorntonGHS Speaking purely as a math teacher, the mnemonic is great for helping students remember trig functions. That said, this is literally the first time I have ever seen a teacher link it to indigenous peoples, and she should be ashamed of herself. I can only hope consequences ensue.

@PrincipalsCtr A6: For me, it is needing to step back more. I need to get the emotion out of my responses for those button pushers. I need to get better at knowing when I am getting angry and walking away for a few moments to make sure I handle the situation the way it should be. #GSUEdLead

By building the same relationships with the teachers, we improve morale and building management! #GSUEdLead

@PrincipalsCtr A5: By not talking at all sometimes. The best leaders listen to their people. Most of the principals I've worked with have put time in every faculty meeting to allow staff members to ask questions or bring up things for the good of the group - relinquishing the stage! #GSUEdLead

@tjdxn17 @PrincipalsCtr I think the hardest thing to do is take that step away from the problem. I think we often feel that immediacy, that something needs to be dealt with right away and ignore the way our emotions affect our response. That's been my problem! #GSUEdLead
