@risor452@_RoseVII_@MacticsG1@myelingames What?… I most certainly never said people piggy-backing opinions was something unique to streamers. That’s absurd. I’m talking about the level of parasociality people can have with streamers in particular. If you don’t see that for yourself, then I don’t know what to tell you
@TheMonch__@Little_Cr0w That’s anecdotal, just because you believe that to be true doesn’t make it so. I’m not stating an opinion, I’m speaking on how corporations generally operate and DMG’s behavior is reflective of that, not personal choice or failing on his part.
@TheMonch__@Little_Cr0w No and the fact that you choose to pivot that direction is interesting. It is however a very poor way to talk to other human beings. Your criticism will be immediately dismissed and therefore pointless if you choose to use said language. I’m trying to help, man.
@TheMonch__@Little_Cr0w Sony’s choice. He may tangentially be employed by Sony by way of their ownership of Bungie but he is a bungie employee. He can’t comment on those sort of decisions by their parent company through his official account.
@TheMonch__@Little_Cr0w There is no problem with criticism and I never suggested as such. However saying “explode him with hammers” hyperbolically or not is not a mature or effective way of conveying your concerns. Also I understand your frustration, I have 10k hours in D2.
@TheMonch__@Little_Cr0w No one misinterpreted what you said, even in the context you try to place it in. It’s inappropriate to communicate this way in general. If you would never say it in person then you shouldn’t say it online.
@risor452@_RoseVII_@MacticsG1@myelingames Not being able to recognize how people piggy-back their opinions solely based on their favorite CC is naive. I never said negativity didn’t exist prior to streamers lol
@_RoseVII_@MacticsG1@myelingames What do you mean, what? Streamers and CC's have been apart of the gaming landscape for a decade now and all it does is produce ego's and entitlement. Not even from the CC themselves but their audience.
