@DaveBondyTV It's "six years". Let's face it, the millage will never be allowed to expire, but they know voters will say no to a permanent millage increase.
@toledonews Wow. The unnamed editorial board at The Blah has a serious case of TDS. Just keep ignoring the corruption and open borders we suffered thru with the big guy. He might not have been making the decisions, but at least he had a D behind his name, right?
@clevelanddotcom You won't be shopping at a Kroger in Cleveland. Kroger corporate leaves the existing brand names on the chains they acquire. It'll still be Giant Eagle.
@DispatchAlerts So the local police aren't allowed to actually arrest trouble makers (we all know why), so the hard working taxpaying resident who has done nothing wrong must suffer.
@freep Except it's not a business. A business produces products. Government does not. Business competes for customers, government does not. Businesses have investors and is expected to turn a profit. Government should not have investors, and should break even.
@globeandmail Here's a good read on the 6 scenarios possible during the upcoming review period. And yes, withdrawal by any one of the 3 is an option... https://t.co/5LA2ZeKPox
@REFLOG18 Oh please, if we're bringing His Flopness back, you know the deal requires wasting a second seat on the bench for Bronny. Move on, LeBron is no MJ with the Wizards.
@toledonews So they say that they haven't asked for new money in 10 years, ignoring the 30% tax hike we all got last year and all that new revenue. Now going for an income tax that doesn't tax SS, so the seniors will vote for it. No respect for taxpayers. Just give us more.
@nettermike My former Fortune 500 employer decided to close 2 offices and consolidate in a new HQ campus in Lake County. 1100 of us were offered paid relocation and raises to move to Deerfield. Income tax, doubled. Electric rates, doubled. Price for similar house doubled. 20% took offer
@RuiterWrongFAN More common than it once was. Sofi and Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and both built below ground level. Now stadiums are designed to blend in not stand out like Lucas Oil or the old Richfield Coliseum
@CLEsportsTalk If he wants to "finish in the CLE", it should be on a 1 day contract. Period. He doesn't play D, he's not a team player. Plus signing the old man requires signing the kid. Any team that signs him is down 1 1/2 players.
@DispatchAlerts In his final months in office, Mike DeWine shows the wouldn't have been electable if Ohio voters knew what he really believes in. It's time for him to go, and let Jim Tressel be a caretaker governor until January 2027.
