If in Northumberland, get over to @HowickHall
Home to Earl Grey (the man & tea) the house and grounds offer history and nature in abundance
Our fave is the Sensory Garden, created with the aim to provide people with autism a safe, stimulating environment to explore their senses
Autumn in #Northumbria part one: @HowickHallGarde absolutely love the 2 new rooms opened in the hall 👏👏👏👏have a feeling the 2nd #EarlGrey would have approved .
Lovely visits to Howick Hall Gardens yesterday and the bonkers Chillingham Castle today. Quite honestly both places aren't charging enough even with the over 60s discount at @HowickHallGarde Great value and both well worth a visit.#tearooms
Walked over to @HowickHallGarde and enjoyed some of the interventions from 1928 by Sir Herbert Baker following a severe fire. More of the interior now open since previous visit. Double dovetails on front door expressing construction
How lucky am I? I spend my Thursday mornings volunteering in the stunning @HowickHallGarde If you've visited before you will know the gardens are beautiful, but the recently renovated hall interior is beyond lovely. And for tea lovers it's the home of Earl Grey!
Enjoyed a wander around @HowickHallGarde. I always love to see which plants the bees prefer and I think the winner was these Eryngiums(?) #lovepollinators#NatureConnection
