Absolutely disgusting and disturbing video from Charlie Kirk shooting today. Hoping for the best for him and his family. Anybody who is happy about this is a disgusting human.
San Diego Padres 2024 9th rd draft pick out of Lenoir-Rhyne University, Zach Evans double 10/3/24. Sorry about the bouncing and blur, I was trying to stay behind a fence post to keep the sun off my head/face so had tio move around the post to get Zach rounding the bases.

SOPH OF Chris Finocchario (@NiagaraTwolves)
In a Scout Day absolutely loaded with talent, Chris may have been the most well-rounded athlete on the field. Lean 5-11, 205LB outfielder followed up an explosive 6.43 60YD 💨 with a 101MPH peak EV. Arm has been 91 from OF.
@PBR_JUCO
Moving over to your SS, similar trends typically occur.
You either leave him straight up or move him more towards the 5/6 hole vs a RHH.
A couple plays in the hole from @Howie2Stuckey
We’ve launched our campaign and would love to have you on board! Please click to read what we’re trying to achieve and how you can help us make it happen. Thanks!! https://t.co/b2MhPEUlSL
You may be thinking, why even shift then?
Why not just play straight up and have your SS field that?
If you do that, you give up the middle of the field and @Howie2Stuckey can’t make cool plays like these ⬇️
Something that is definitely overlooked is how well @GriffsBaseball pitchers and catchers held the run game in 2024 compared to 2023 and years before that.
This past season we only allowed 54 stolen bases in 71 attempts (76.1% Success Rate)
Big improvement from the year before in 2023, when we allowed 83 of 101 (82.2% Success Rate).
