my husband’s shoes always wear in the back by the heel. every pair of chucks he’s ever owned get a hole in the back after a couple months. never seen anything like it. one day i held the shoe up to his foot and it was clearly too big. “i think you’re wearing the wrong size” i say. “no i have always worn this size.” ok. couple months later we go to get him new shoes. they don’t have them in “his size”. i ask the sales guy if they have the next size down. yes. he tries them on. perfect fit. he loves them so much that he wears them out of the store. “these are the most comfortable shoes i’ve ever owned!” yes because you’re not wearing Clown Shoes anymore. idiot.
Two years ago, I had an 8th-grade education thanks to spending 35 years in a cult.
Now, I've successfully finished my second year at NYU.
Undertaking this educational journey has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life. There are days where I’ve thought about giving up. While I'm still not finished, I'm so glad I decided to dive in.
If you have the desire and capacity, please remember that it's never too late to start again.
Trying this Twitter thing again… Apparently I’ve become the AV guy for my class and I video the SIM demos so we can study it later haha #crna#srna#rrna#anesthesiology#nurse
