@freshy1973 That’s been done as everything is sire traced in our commercials so problem bulls progeny is out the gate. More highlighting the variables in ebvs
@freshy1973 Any growth on back toes, any crossing of claw etc is culled.
I have L tags being culled for age this year. Still 48 of them from 70 heifers so I wouldn’t say maternal is something we’ve struggled with. But our feet have slipped in younger age groups dramatically.
@freshy1973 Interesting I feel like a lot of producers would agree with their statements around needing solid data to give quantitative genetics a solid background. I can 100% say it our part of the world a lot of the time, the data doesn’t match the animal you see.
@CrendonIrrig Have Allflex large female ones in 10 year old cows still easily read. Generally have the Letter small on top, medium for the numbers and then property/farm name small on bottom.
@originalstinger@ksmith_agro@ColBowey Don’t think PH is the problem sting, more meaning how can I stop this from seeding down without hurting clover with 24D. Only seen capeweed this season due to 3-4 false breaks
Any agros out there that can explain the theory of spray/graze capeweed with a high calcium folia? Wanting to clean up a rye/clover paddock which is getting overrun. Explain it me like I’m 5 thanks!

@darryn_browne@GusWhyte Every 8-10m is my preference. Have done 6m with no droppers before but prefer a dropper in between. If your not worried about a few extra posts go 8m and it comes up smicko!
@KerinPollMerino Any chance of letting us in on sires in use for your AI Nigel? Do you look for proven sires from a commercial sense. Heard you speak in recent podcast about using data driven sires, just wondering what are a few that have excited you.
