We are delighted to have been included in the 2026/27 KDM Evolution Trophy!

We will take part in a 40 team league phase, after which the Top 22 will progress and be joined by the SPFL Championship clubs.

The league phase fixtures are due to be confirmed on the 16th July, with play commencing on 11th/12th August.

We lied, one more promotion as we can confirm that Mark McCaffrey has officially been promoted to the senior squad!

However, Mark has been with the senior team for a few months and has impressed with 4 goals in 12 appearances!

To conclude the Under 20s section, we took a moment to recognise Mark McCaffrey's efforts for both the Under 20s and the Senior Team.

As an attacking midfielder he has managed to score 8 goals for the U20s and 4 goals for the first team despite an early season injury. Mark has excellent final third creativity with many assists. He was last seasons joint top goalscorer for the U20s and has shown good maturity in his attitude and made the most of his opportunities with the first team.

Very well deserved, Mark! 👏🏻

Next up was the Under 20s Top Goalscorer award, awarded to Aaron Quinn!

With 11 competitive goals, he has mainly played in the wide left position, scoring many more goals in friendlies and has had many assists. A technically able player who makes intelligent forward runs to be in the right position to hurt the opposition.

Well done, Aaron! 👏🏻

It wasn't long before Anthony Carroll was back up to deliver another speech as he also took home the Under 20s Player of the Year award.

David Gormley took a moment to recognise Anthony's efforts for the first team this season, which paired with his two Under 20s awards represents a strong season for Anthony with plenty more to come from a young lad who is full of potential.

Next up was the Under 20s Players' Player of the Year, awarded to Anthony Carroll as voted for by his peers.

Anthony plays as a left-footed central midfielder and has excellent technical ability, having scored some terrific goals including a 45-yarder this season. He dictates the tempo of the game, finds space on the pitch and looks to play on the front foot. A player who has high standards and consistently delivers.

We got underway starting with the Under 20s awards, with the first award of the night being Management Player of the Year which was awarded to Angus Paterson!

Angus was given this award due to his consistency, organisation, communication and leadership as co-captain for the team. Angus always has a great attitude and shows great resilience and decision making..

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎'𝐬 Result

A well deserved win to finish the league season as the team had to dig deep to win a game where they played over 45mins with 10 men.

A tremendous 2nd half strike from Williamson and a fine finish from O'Brien secured the 3 points in a good game.

A great attitude and resilience from the team in the last 4 competitive game unbeaten run 👏
