@nationalisnomad So you can get a life sentence for burning down a warehouse or you can get life for killing a pedo or CEO. I guess choices will have to be made.
‼️‼️‼️WONDER WHY YOUR ELECTRIC BILL IS INCREASING⁉️‼️‼️ Ohio’s AEP's CEO makes more money than almost any CEO in the region. He's getting richer off our money and we have higher electricity bills.
PUCO lets them get away with this.
This week, PUCO approved yet another rate increase that will make our electricity bills higher.
As @zeb.larson and I wrote in @columbusdispatch, the next governor of Ohio needs to get serious about reining in AEP and other utility monopolies. And the first step is changing PUCO.
What are you going to do @VivekGRamaswamy? @amyactonoh

@BussNJim@AntiSocialite81@HQNewsNow Agree about the spending problem but we’re just redirecting to the military complex? What about the waste in the defense spending? The pentagon can’t pass an audit and government contracts definitively have mass fraud and are over bloated. I don’t see it on the list.
@strong_side_24@JustJenRX Thank you for sharing. I’m not on FB, so it gave me an opportunity to hear more local perspectives. I posted because I was struggling to find the answers and was unable to locate much information on the proposal. I appreciate your insights.
@strong_side_24@JustJenRX I understand the concept but I don’t think we can rely on our elected officials to devise a plan that benefits us. Whatever solutions they propose will likely favor the wealthy. I’ll need to do more research and maybe they’ll have these answers by the time it hits the ballot.
@strong_side_24@JustJenRX I don't believe landlords will lower rent. It seems pricing competition is a relic of the past, as most have already opted to extract the highest possible payments. Many properties remain vacant to maintain the current housing market and
@strong_side_24@JustJenRX How do we account for multi home owners, companies or otherwise. Increasing consumption and income taxes for all, reduces their tax liability. No matter how you break it down, 30% aren’t owner occupied and a major loss in tax revenue would be pushed on the working class.
@strong_side_24@JustJenRX I was looking into 2025 info. Not much data out but there is a sharp trend up the last few years. Shows at least 30 percent. Includes many types of investors and multi home buyers.
