Turks are now much more eligible for being considered White due to their proven ability to co-opt initially insulting memes as their own identity.
Non-Whites can’t do that. More investigation is needed.
I shared this note earlier today with the entire team at Opendoor.
Today we began to say goodbye to our colleagues in India as we wind down our India operations.
Our customers are in America, and that's where our operational work belongs.
"Yeah I'm really into politics."
"Oh really? Whats your opinion on the recent federal reserve interest rate changes?"
"Federal what? Interest rates? When I said politics I just meant being racist on Twitter."

There are more chinese and indian borne tech workers in silicon valley than american borne tech workers. I guarantee you that you could an equivalent amount of US CS grads — who are experiencing a historically weak labor market — that are just as, if not more innovative.
The idea that we need 2M indian and chinese workers to innovate is nonsense, Sam Altman is from the midwest and Dario is from California. The remaining founding staff are all either Americans or Europeans.
H1B visas, of which 70% go to India, do not resolve the alleged “talent gap” that these retards claim. They resolve a compliance gap, indian and chinese H1B workers are substantially more dependent on their employer than Americans, and have minimal leverage to negotiate better wages. They’re also simply not creative, look at the product of any of the SF tech émigrés. Its all the same consumer slop app: a task tracker, an exercise tracker, something that everyone in the third world can use, but no one in the actual upper echelons of society would care for.
This is why almost every great tech company you see is founded either by an American or European, because blind compliance is not a western value. But it is an oriental one.
This sucks.
America should welcome greatness. Builders, innovators, and creators should have a fast path to citizenship.
I can’t fathom why we would make life harder for founders starting billion dollar companies that want to anchor themselves in the US.
There’s a couple factors to consider here.
1. A study looking at assaults that would have been fatal 40 years ago but are survivable today came up with this result for current homicide rates showing the current homicide rate is near its peak after accounting for medical advancements. The 1950s (for anyone wondering) had a homicide rate of around 5.0 with relatively primitive medical care.
2. Crime was more concentrated in urban centers in the past. Even in the 90s America was very safe for people who didn’t live near dangerous urban centers. Thanks to shipping Haitians and other 3rd worlders throughout the country the “average” American feels less safe in their community because the average American community is in fact more dangerous.
@JoshRainerGold Hit the oil rig nigga, even if there are abiotic oil sources, they’re magnitudes more more sparse and harder to drill. Biologically sourced reservoirs (reefs, channels, etc) make up 90% of the world’s economic oil supply
