@_Baridilo@kenkenlewu Work things out, how?
He slept with another man’s wife!! Would he be nice if she was found in another man’s arms?
We need to stop victim blaming. Let her react & express whichever way she likes. He could have worked things out before cheating! That’s no mistake
RESPECTFULLY.
@a4lasade Thanks for sharing. Glad you came out strong. You could sue then, there were resources but alot of people weren’t just exposed to them.
I can only imagine how tough it was on you. Thankfully you had “mum’s friend” who believed & accepted you.
Hugs sis 🤍
I was clearing out some old files recently and found my expulsion letter from a polytechnic. I just sat there for a while, because that one paper carried a whole chapter of my life.
In 2003 when it happened, I didn’t even have a plan. I just knew I couldn’t go home. I stayed with my mum’s friend for weeks, keeping a low profile, trying to act like I was okay when I wasn’t. Eventually my dad found out and had me sent to Abuja. That period taught me how quickly life can force you to grow up without preparation.
What stayed with me wasn’t just the expulsion, but the reason, they said I was part of a cült group. No proof, just accusations. At that age, you don’t even know how to defend yourself properly, you just carry the label and keep moving.
Fast forward to 2007, I got admission again in that same state. Then one day, a man showed up at my lodge. I was hesitant to open the door, but eventually I did. He introduced himself as DSS, sat me down, and asked about 2003.
Then he said something I’ll never forget, they had been looking for me for four years, and after all their investigations, they confirmed I had nothing to do with it.
That moment did something to me. Not even relief at first… just a heavy realization of how much damage a wrong label can do before the truth finally shows up.
Because I wasn’t the only one. Some people never recovered from that expulsion. One person is gone. Another is still in the village trying to rebuild his life. Same accusation, different endings.
For me, I chose to move on and rebuild quietly.
But if you were in my shoes… what would you do? Would you sue the polytechnic, or just face your life and move on like I did?

As President, I would read 10 letters a day sent to me by ordinary Americans. At the Obama Presidential Center, we’ll have some of the letters I read — and responded to — every night. I still get emotional reading them, and it’s one of my favorite exhibits.
Young/Old, Do your job & do it well!
The commentator is so wrong & loud about it. Attempting to capture her face in bid to shame her with your bottom-barrel opinion.
How reckless are U to intend to finish a transaction on a busy road while keeping other paying clients waiting

When women say "STOP rap*ng women"...
Your response cannot be "what abt men/children" neither can it be "what abt false accusers" nor anything else.
Your reply MUST only be YES!!!
You can start your own separate conversation abt anything else at another time/place.
