Confirmed at 2 PM today dt my order will b dispatched. Now saying it's "Out of Stock". How can an item go out of stock AFTER order confirmation?

Once an order is confirmed, it is expected that the inventory is blocked and reserved for the customer.
Notifying me about stock issues after confirmation has caused unnecessary inconvenience.

​Why was the order confirmed if the stock wasn't available?
