Last few days spent crop walking in România. Such a joy to swap the wet standstill of DK to look at nice flowering OSR, w wheat almost at flag leaf and spring barley in full tillering.

Here in 🇷🇴 we plant all sunflowers on 76cm, but weed control and soil protections, this seems a very interesting

🎇🌱 Last field visit for 2023. A year full of challenges,l due to drought ☀️ conditions in SE 🇷🇴. Crop 23/24 started significantly better with good autumn 🌧️ and high temperatures means the plants still developing.
We are positive for a better year to come🙏🏽

@fredweisg We are running the 36” and we’re actually advised to run 30” as the flow of grains through combine is the limitation. Combines are made to receive grain and straw in the same.
We have to run fast to avoid header losses - too fast, loss will be from the cleaning - not header

@fredweisg Honestly, we do not see any difference between stripperheads and when we trashed all with the straw through the combine. Only some varieties have some header losses. For us it was more a struggle to set the combine correctly. Here we had some losses until we found the right way.
