I would definitely have them contact their vet ASAP and remind them to 🥰 & be patient, but to try not to give up if/when things get tough. Sometimes you have to throw in a mix of meds and supplements #MVMchat

@MerckVetManual A3: You can let them socialize w/ other immunized pets, adults or littles who also have their 1st/2nd vaccines. I would not let the fear of vaccines prevent people from having their little ones socialized. Also, you want them to be intr'd w/ EVERYTHING, not just pets #MVMchat

@MerckVetManual @DrMartyBecker @DrKarenOverall A2: Treats, treats, and more treats. LOL We approach scared animals with our backs or sides to them, but never head on. We don't bend over them or "wrestle" them to cooperate. If they need a break, we give it to them. We try very hard not to go over threshold.

@MerckVetManual @Worldvets @dillerdogs @WSUvetmed @dvm360 A1: We try to incorporate behavioral appts, by making a regular vet appt a behavioral appt. We try to make sure the animal is less stressed by playing "Through a Dog's Ear" and our clinic looks like a house call. We give treats and use different conditioning techniques.
