update:
just got my macbook back 💻
unfortunately all data lost.
they told me it was a software issue (which was fixed later)
so don’t forget to update to the latest version 🙌
what a cute founder i’ve become 😅
been using my sister’s macbook air for the last 2 days.
my main laptop is on repair at apple store.
setting up SSH, claude, vs-code, all my credentials, loom, env vars…
so much time i lost 😫
but it’s what it is :))
my #1 reddit hack:
🟢 create a community for your SaaS
🟢 approve your own posts
🟢 promote 🎉
careful:
‼️ 1-2x post/day (not more)
‼️ not over promotional (be honest)
helpful for long-term GEO 👌
i sent 146 cold emails for backlink outreach so far 📈
got 16 responses in total (~11%)
- 3 deals done (71-72-88 DR) ✅
- 5 offered paid placements ❌
- 6 ongoing negotiations ⏳
- 2 rejected ❌
now increasing the volume 💪
my DR is 40 - so you don't have to be so big as well
the important thing is:
1. you should be in relevant niches
2. you should have something to offer back in return (that's basically how link exchanges work already)
you want to taste ULTIMATE boredom?
just try doing 100 manual cold outreach/day.
İt’s painful, boring, repetitive..
but yeah, it probably gets you closer to the goal haha 🙃
they say aged Reddit accounts are the BEST.
so you won't get banned easily when marketing your app.
this account served me really well so far 🤩
and it just turned 5 yo.
some people asked me how i'm building backlinks 👇
it's pretty simple + boring:
1. connect DataForSEO to claude code
2. ask Claude to find pages where competitors have links, but I don’t
3. export as CSV
4. reach out to each website via contact forms and email
5. track everything in a spreadsheet
currently doing 30-50/day.
already got a few positive replies back 🙌
so i'll keep doing it! 🫡
Met Arthur last year.
He’s already doing great with his startups at 21yo.
Super genuine guy with a ton of passion.
One of the best friendships I made just by posting on X 🙌
Are newsletters worth the time to get customers for a B2B SaaS?
I just created one.
The plan is simple:
Use the blog + main website to collect emails, then see if it can turn into a real lead nurturing engine 🤔
