It seems like Salpointe Catholic has been Desert Edge’s achilles heel for the past to years. Losing by 34 last Friday night, DE needs to win out if they want to have a shot at the open. That will come with beating a very talented Millennium. Although a very young team, DE has ->

However, Marcos De Niza, coming off a 1-1 start, are trying to make the playoffs after missing last year. Led by senior Yakeen Baylis, will the run game be the kind of answer MDN is looking for? I think yes. The Padres are looking for a win, and will come out with one Friday.

4A Week 4 Upset:
Marcos De Niza (1-1) vs Sahuaro (3-0)

Coming off their first 3-0 start since 2014, Sahuaro (Tucson) has been on a roll defeating Vista Grande, Buena, and Sabino all by more than 3 scores. Looking for the 4A title this year, Sahuaro will be a serious contender.
