Born 3 days apart, brothers for life. We struggled together, and the candle is still rolling. Happy birthday to the realest one @ben_kagwa . ๐๐ฅ #DayOne#Brothers#HBD#KeepRolling
Understanding Ugandaโs strategic importance means understanding the Nile. Ugandaโs location at the equatorial source of the White Nile has shaped regional geopolitics, colonial interests, and global power competition for over a century.
Thanks to all who attended Africa Vukaโs session on Ugandaโs just transition to renewables. Proposition won, citing Article 39. Debate continues online. Letโs keep building, Repowering Africa together. Aluta continua!
I thank H.E. William Ruto and the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) for organising the Africa We Build Summit. I am glad that the AFC are speaking my language, the language of revolution.

In our evening session at Kyankwanzi, I warned that corruption will not be tolerated. Those involved are on notice and decisive action will be taken. Leaders, especially in Parliament, must reject bribery and serve with integrity.
I also appreciate our partners, including Rt. Hon. Hassan Omar of the United Democratic Alliance of Kenya, for emphasising the need to overcome fragmented markets and policies in order to achieve Africaโs prosperity.
Retreats like these are important for renewing commitment to our mission of national transformation. I congratulate the MPs on the successful retreat.
Today, at the closure of the retreat for the newly elected NRM Members of the 12th Parliament, I hosted them at Ngoma State Lodge. We toured the farm and walked to the bridge between River Mayanja and River Kafu, an area with historical significance linked to our liberation struggle, including the 1984 NRA attack on Masindi Barracks.
I cautioned these young leaders against corruption, especially in Parliament. I also reiterated our long-standing message of moving Ugandans from subsistence living to the money economy, as demonstrated by the transformation of the cattle corridor through dairy farming.
