結論から言うと､我々ガンダムおじさんの古傷を抉る､極めて精緻で残酷な｢地獄の答え合わせ｣でした｡

最大の衝撃は､監督の｢映像が正史｣というスタンスが徹底されていたこと｡ ハサウェイが背負っているのは､小説版の｢悲劇｣ではなく､映画『逆襲のシャア』における逃れようのない｢罪｣であることが確定しました｡彼がなぜマフティーを演じなければならなかったのか､その欺瞞と悲哀が解像度高く描かれすぎていて､見ていて胃が痛くなります｡

対するギギ･アンダルシアの解像度がエグい｡ 家具選びやシャンプーの生活臭が漂うほどリアルな彼女の｢生｣は､アムロやシャアの亡霊に憑かれ､死に急ぐだけのハサウェイがいかに｢空っぽ｣かを容赦なく突きつけてきます｡

そしてMS戦｡レーンの乗機にトラウマを刺激され､クスィーガンダムが"もどき(異形)"の皮を脱ぎ捨てて｢本物のガンダム｣へと変貌するカタルシス｡ 偽物が本物になってしまう｡その皮肉と絶望こそが､本作のハイライト｡

また､ついに父ブライトが登場するわけですが､この｢処刑台｣へのレールが敷かれた状態でどう対面するのか｡もはや絶望すら生温い｡我々の情緒と胃壁を容赦なく破壊しに来る､劇薬のような傑作でした｡
