Completion rates are easy to report. Application is much harder.
One of the strongest findings from Kilifi wasn't simply that young women completed leadership training. It was that nearly all trained participants translated learning into action—leading mentorship sessions, engaging communities, building referral linkages, and creating their own advocacy platforms.
This challenges a common assumption in leadership programming: that training itself is the outcome.
Perhaps the more important question is what systems, trust, and opportunities exist after the training ends.
How does your organisation measure the gap between "trained" and "actively leading"?
