Infantrymen Denys "Bars" and Dmytro "K2" returned from a position near the city of Kostiantynivka, where they had held the defense for 130 days.
«I liked fighting. I didn’t regret a single day that I ended up exactly here» – says fighter Dmytro. He and "Bars" had several fire contacts with the enemy and eliminated seven enemy fighters. During one of the engagements, the occupiers detected the servicemembers with a drone, and the next morning their position began to be destroyed. They were hit with FPV drones and mortars. «At the frontline, we had several fire contacts with the enemy. We killed seven enemies. The scariest moment was when our position was being torn apart».
«We hid using two alternate exits. Bars’s alternate exit was more solid than mine. When an explosion happened above me, I was covered with earth. I thought I would stay there forever underground. I managed to brace myself and lie on my side, pulling in my knees and elbows. A small space remained under my body. I started digging myself out beneath me, with a knife and my hands. Little by little, over several hours, I dug myself out enough to be able to move» – Dmytro recalls. After that, they had to change positions.
Along with them, a 23-year-old Russian servicemember, Danyla Sychov from the 242nd Volgograd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian army, also left the zero line. He had been taken prisoner.
Because rotating military personnel on the Kostiantynivka direction is extremely difficult, the prisoner also could not be evacuated from the positions for a long time. He lived at a neighboring position for more than two months. Sychov helped Ukrainian infantrymen by digging and setting up dugouts. He was convinced that Russian assault troops could shoot him during another attack, as in his unit no one was taken prisoner. Replacing infantry on positions in modern warfare is one of the most difficult and risky operations for combat units. Near the line of contact, any movement is almost never unnoticed by enemy drones. That is why the withdrawal of infantry sometimes takes weeks, and heavy rain can help.
The video shows infantrymen of the 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade who have just left positions where they had been holding the defense for many months. Comrades “Kalyna” and “Silva” from the special battalion @93Alcatraz held the defense for 140 days – entering the positions on March 16 and leaving in August. The withdrawal itself lasted more than three days, as the soldiers were exhausted and moved very slowly, constantly having to hide in shelters along the route to the rear due to Russian shelling.
Another fighter from Alcatraz, “Gera,” spent three months at his position, one of those months alone after his comrade was wounded and evacuated. He remained there until another comrade, “Umka,” reached his position. Umka’s own position had been destroyed, and he crawled through the tree line for 40 hours searching for cover. He says he survived thanks to the training he received in the Alcatraz battalion.
. @JaredLeto are you aware that there is WAR in Ukraine and not just some “problems”? Are you aware that russians voluntarily come here to commit genocide and war crimes? If what you said is okay for you, if you sympathize war supporters, then you are NOT welcome in Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
Well, there is one topic that everyone has been talking about for years, but as it has been going on for years, it has been forgotten
Here is a thread about "love" in Russia, which is not spoken about much (1/9)

Overnight, Russia launched an attack on Ukrainian energy facilities, damaging power generation, transmission and distribution systems in various regions, including Ukraine's largest hydroelectric power plant, the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant in Zaporizhzhia.
Many towns and cities were partially or completely cut off from electricity.
Seems that Russians not had enough of the terrible disaster at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant last year.
Ukraine needs weapons and air defense against Russian terrorism and genocide.
